Strange noises come from rm. 33 and it has nothing to do with
Halloween! Fish and frogs live in aquariums. Plants are grown
and observations made. Experiments are conducted and results recorded
in journals. Each class is welcomed into the lab where they use
the discovery method to understand the science concepts presented
in their curriculum. Join the excitement! |
Occasionally a child needs an extra "someone" at school
to provide motivation, praise, assistance, and encouragement.
Bear Buddies is a mentoring program to address this need. Mentors
are faculty and staff members who take the time to show a positive
interest in their student charges while maintaining high expectations,
thus developing strong, responsible students. |
Want
to teach responsibility and organizational skills to children?
Let them participate in Wee Deliver. It's the postal system for
Rosemont Forest Elementary run by third graders. We have mail
boxes, mail sorters, and mail carriers. Imagine the significance
a child will attach to his letter-writing assignment when he knows
the final product will be stamped and delivered! |
