VBCPS encourages the establishment of structured student mentorship programs.
Supporting these school activities is a wonderful way to benefit Rosemont Forest students.

Bear Necessities	Bear Buddies	ROFO Respects
Sponsored by the PTA, this program provides standard school supplies for students who do not have them. In order to honor as many requests as possible, the PTA is accepting donations. Please leave supplies by the Volunteer Desk in the school office.	Occasionally a child needs an extra "someone" at school to provide motivation, praise, assistance, and encouragement. Bear Buddies is a mentoring program to address this need. Mentors are faculty and staff members who take the time to show a positive interest in their student charges while maintaining high expectations, thus developing strong, responsible students.	How can we foster in our students the 21st century skills of global awareness, independence and responsible citizenship? Our discipline philosophy, called ROFO Respects, supports this goal of the school division's Compass to 2015 plan and presents guidelines that are easily understood by even our youngest students. Join us as we prepare children to be successful in a changing world.
